Hello Alcatel-Guru´s,

I´ve got a question concerning the 4059 MAC and the BLF:
Is it possible to run the 4059 MAC and the BLF on different PC´s? Our costumer want´s to use to different PC´s so he can use one only for the 4059 MAC-Attendant and the other (on the same desk) to see who´s in conversation and who´s free...

If yes: How can I connect the BLF to the OXE (cause the MAC-Box has only one serial port....)?

The system is an OXE R7.1, the version of 4059 is 4.016.9.

Sorry for my (perhaps) silly question but I never sold or installed the BLF before (only the 4059 MAC.... and I can´t find any doc´s about the installation of the BLF on the BPWS (including the TC0910...)

I'm not sure if it can run on another pc, not that I'm aware of, maybe someone else has experience. What I have done in the past, is put in dual monitors on 1 pc and run the BLF on the second monitor, much cheaper than an entire second pc.

I found out something:
It works on a second PC. I have to connect this PC to a V24-Port on the OXO.

But here is my problem: Do I have to use the MOXA-Box (on Common-Hardware) or can I use the V24-Port on the CS?
Which V24-application must I configure in mgr (I think: attendant supervision)?

Like I said, I have no experience with using a second pc. But, I don't think I would use the V24 on the CS even if you can. What if you need console access? I would use a moxa box.

OXO-Man - you confuse me. In your first post you say you have OXE R7.1

After superb advice by Torrentula, you then post again and say it works on V24 of OXO.

These are 2 completely different systems. Are you asking that 'because it is possible on OXO, you now want to know if the same is possible on OXE'?

Pls don't misread my post - I am not reprimanding you (even though most of my message sounds like I am) - I am genuinely confused

Either way, why waste resources? Dual monitor is perfect solution, no?

of course I mean the OXE (Enterprise). I don´t want to confuse you....

It was my fault with the OXO... normaly I´m working with the OXO and not with the OXE. So my fingers are typing OXO on my keyboard instead of OXE (Enterprise..)...

Concerning my problem:
I would use the MOXA-Box...
