Hi guys,

I got problem with BOOT new CPU's with new binaries. I try to load R12,1 (M230021a) to CS-3 with PC installer 5,2. But always got warning with this : 'install/config/https:/hdlist': path not reachable in Linux version 117.000. and If I click on continue it will appear another warning with : 'install/config/https/swinst-3.23.0-4oxe.i386.rpm': path not reachable in Linux version 117.000. when I try to boot CPU with this warn everything is OK but at the end of booting last files from the linux (M2300) it will appear ERROR: FTPD:produced following error message: cannot fork acceptor: Resource temporarily unavailable. When I click continue nothing happend and when I try to click on modify at PC installer, sudenly intaller in CPU continue working with intalling files. Now I dont know If the warned file swinst was installed or not. But when I try after BOOT try to open swinst everything works fine.

Same problem I have with R12,2 (M340213F) same warning, same error.

I try to BOOT it from 3 computers and always same error. With Release R11,2 and R12 have no problem but with these new one cant BOOT without error or warnings. Is there someone who have same problem like me ? Or what should I do for find any solution to BOOT it correctly?

you need to use pc installed 5.4 which is in the 13F patch folder, otherwise you must use SOT to install CPU's

I tried with 5.4 but the problem still exists.please let me know what is the SOT?

i loaded 5.4 yesterday and now it works fine as i was getting the same error when selecting ,y OXE version, as per the documentation anything below 5.4 12.2 cannot be loaded using PC Installer.

Software Orchestration Tool (S.O.T.) can be downloaded from the BPWS and it runs as a Virtual Machine, it works well.

It’s a software issue try install the hot fix for me the same issue came then it got resolved by applying hot fix

Use PCInstaller 5.4 or above. It is available with patch l2.300.41, m1.403.22.a, m2.300.21.a, m3.402.13.f in directory : \pcmao\boot_res\pcinstall

Some info from support. Publication Date: 4 September 2018
Issue: After the installation of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709, it's impossible to use OmniPCX Enterprise PC Installer.
Support answer:
The Windows 10 OS is not supported anymore for OmniPCX Enterprise PC Installer.
The OmniPCX Enterprise PC Installer will be replaced by a new software SOT which is suppoted by Windows10.
In the meantime I propose to create a VM Windows 7 or 8 and put OmniPCX Enterprise PC Installer.on it.

BTW. Exists already 5.5

I'm trying to load a CS-3 with PC Installer 5.5
I can see the boot request reaching the PC Installer, but the CS always says ":

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent.

I'm I missing something?
