Hi everybody,

I've got a little problem, There's one trunk with 200 different numbers on it, no range of numbers, but 200 totally different numbers, in the default external translator I only can put 100 numbers.... now we use the abbeviated dialing plan for the 200 numbers but its in conflict with my internal numbering plan...I've tried to setup the trunk group with remove 2 digits and add a C or another free digit and put this digit in my abbreviated number, but it isn't working. any ideas???

As I understand you have RANGE of incoming numbers and destination not in range?
From release 6.2 PBX allow to create 100 DID translators and 200 rules in each. You cannot create 200 numbers in practice or only after documentation reading?
And about speed dialing and local numbering:
You can create rules in DID translators - 123000 (ext. num) - B2000 - 200.
Create speed dial pref B2000 where call number your internal number f.e. 1000, next speed dial B2001/ call number 1009 (next internal number).
In this case you can use speed dial for convert external range of numbers to any internal number whithout conflict, just use letter (A, B, C or D) in the beginning.

Thats correct Vad, the range of incoming numbers and destination are not in range

for example, the incoming numbers: 50-1111111, 51-1111111, 50-1234567, 51-1234567 etc etc.

I think I can only use 0ne did translator because i've got one trunk....the 200 rules is enough for this moment, but in the future we expect more then 200 numbers..., and in the did translator you can use 6 digits, but the numbers i have are only unique from 7 or 8 digits, i've got a overlap with 6 or 7 digits... i hope you understand the problem..

External number in DID rules up to 10 digits, internal number up to 8 digits. No problem.

Sorry you're right, I mean the range size is only 10000, and I have no ranges, but only totally different numbers...

Range size not intresting for you (Only if you will convert range of incoming numbers to range of speed dial numbers).
In other case you will have many rules like this (internal numbers f.e. 3XXX):
12340001 - 3000 - 1
12340002 - 3009 - 1
12340003 - 3050 -1 and so on.
Limitation 200 rules. If you need more - use speed dialling or manage multiline keys on digital set.
F.e. you want to manage total chaos (As I understand) and user numbers are 3XXX:
you can manage 12340001 - 4001 - 1000.
And after this for digital set manage multi-line kes with numbers 4XXX (f.e. for rules before user 3009 with external number 12340002 will have additional multiline key with number 4002).
For analog set manage speed dials 4XXX where call number 3XXX.
And you can use hunt groups insted of speed dial and multi-line key. For example before (12340001 - 4001 - 1000 DDI rule and user 3009 with external number 12340002) you can create hunt group 4002 with one set 3009).
You have many way to solve your problem

Thanks for your help, first i us the 200 rules, if i use speed-dialing i get a conflict with my internal numbering plan... ,

and in the future when i need more rules:
upgrade to release 8.. limitation: 2000 rules
