Problem with RTP between nodes
Posted: 28 Oct 2016 03:06
We have strange situation, may be someone have idea.
Two nodes (branch offices in two countries), common hardware, internode link - Hybrid, IP, calls via VPN overflow (H323), DPNSS prefixes created, used G711 (IP domain, VPN overflow).
Node 1 - R11.0.1 k1.520.36
Node 2 - R11.2 l1.301.35
IP user from node 2 calls IP user from node 1.
t3 trace show standard behaviour - SETUP to GA from node 1, RTP info (IP user node 2 address), after CONNECT/CONNECT ACK - we have FACILITY - info about RTP ports/addresses (IP phones from both sides).
Connection established, no problem with voice.
User from node 2 want to make conference and start to dial number. In t3 trace we see FACILITY message (info about GD-3 RTP port/address). User from node 1 shall be putted on hold and hear "music on hold" from GD-3. But hear silence.
After some timeout connection broken (RELEASE - TEMPORARY FAILURE).
And on node 2 we have incident - 0:4412=H323 : end of the communication with cause 5
We have some more network nodes (R10.1.1, R11.0.1) with the same type of connection (from PBX point of view, from data network point of view - IPsec). No problem with calls, hold, conferences.
Maybe someone have the same problem with R11.2 in full IP ABC-F network (with hold, conference in network).
