If there is a violation to a policy rule for example if i blocked telnet service, would it be register on the policy or the qos log.
For the policy rule i used
->policy rule "name" log enable

also configured traps
->policy rule "name" trap enable

Neither traps or logs are working at the moment.

for the logs you use "show qos logs".
Did you receive other traps? I haven't tested it with traps for rules (to much traps....).

I couldn't do it through the CLI yet using the Omnivista 2500 I configured a set of policy rules and in the config I applied notifications by traps and logs.
It show the logs and corresponding traps on the Omnivista 2500
