Inter-digit in Digital sets

Hi guys,
Sorry for the questions, but I search all Timers, and don't found nothing that works.
When the user of a Digital set, hold 3 seconds inter dial by dial, can't dial anymore.
So, how can I change this, and prolong the timer before release, to user have more time to dial an number.
Tks.
OXE R9.

This happen for outgoing calls only or for internal too?
Check timer 3 - Local inter-digit timer - If this timer expires between the dialing of two digits the busy tone is sent to the set (local only).

Hi VAD,
But I changed this timer before ask here, and reinit the set and board, still the same... I actually saw all Timers by manual, and made some tests... none worked.
The problem happends in outgoing call...
Spasibo....

If you have ISDN connection - make t3 trace - may be after time-out you have some message from network (may problem not in your PBX).
Some questions:
- external connection type - ISDN, analogue, SIP/H323...
- what you see on set display - started conversation time, something else.

Hi,
Same as internal call, if I hold some seconds without dial nothing.. If exists, it send to destination, if not, drop the call...
I've R2 connection, Analog and SIP... is just the time delay what I wants to change... Looks more complicated that I think.

Your dialing prefix is what? ARS or Trunk Group prefix directly?

Hi
Strange situation. You might explain a little bit better what you are dialing.
As Vad wrote, timer 3 (default 70 = 7 seconds) is used for interdigit. For example, if you have an extension as 55001000 and you dial just 5500, after 7 seconds you receive busy tone.
As Cav asked, explain what prefix you are dialing (the meaning), and what kind of extension.
Best regards.

Sorry guys, I was in travel.
The internal ext is 3xxx and 4xxx. But is the same senario internal or external when I get "0" to ars.
I did changed the Timer 3, and reinit the board, not the PBX. And still the same. But I count the seconds, and after 4 sec, I can't dial anymore...
Digital or Analog sets.
Tks

The same for internal? Strange - f.e. you want to dial 4000 (some internal set number) - if you dial just 400 - you will have busy after 3 sec? Check himself. I hope you remember - 10 sec - timer=100 (in main case).
For analogue line - when you dial uncompleted number - after 3 sec - you see conversation timer started?

Hi Vad,
Actually, I don't hear the Busy tone... is just silence. Even after 7, 8 sec.
"For analogue line" : No. No conversation status... just silence.
It's stranger....
