6850 stuck at USB scanning bus for devices

I have an Omniswitch 6850-48 that refuses to boot.
Connecting via serial I get these messages:
PWR led is constant green
OK led is blinking orange
The number 0 is shown in the "stack position" display
The switch freezes before the miniboot prompt.
Any ideas or I'm out of luck?
