How can I turn off or change the mmi password of a 4018 iptouch phone?

I made a Telnet connection to the device and got the following result when using the "secu" command:

NoePhone > secu
#secu#
...
MMI password: on
...
secu OK

We've finally found a work-around for this problem.

After downgrading our version of the pbx, during the verification phase of the bootproces the phone had to do a downgrade of his binaries.
This also removed the password from the phone.
