Re: OXE software error
Looks like you have a non valid or corrupted software.mao file, incinfo reports for "ERROR 2700 : Software package error=1 1 0"
"Software package Error P1 info2 P2 info3 P3"
"P1 : 0 = Software.mao file not found"
"P1 = Software.mao file faulty"
Maybe try deleting all of the license files out of mao and then reinstalling them through swinst.

When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around.
But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.

Re: OXE software error
At first - RUNTEL (but not runtel)
- swinst/expert menu/system management/autostart management - autostart set or not?

Re: OXE software error
1) Explain - what was done with PBX - SW installation, empty database creation, OPS loading (nothing missed?)
2) if you set autostart - show output from PBX during start-up.

Re: OXE software error
Dear Vad ,
yes , I do the OPS backup , stop the telephone , then reboot
after reboot finished , I created an emty database
then reboot the oxe again
now , when I login into GD3 card , i see errors as below :
/etc/rc.d/init.d/binipmg_download: download_binary binmg3 failed
/etc/rc.d/init.d/binipmg_download: download of binmg3 failed: file not found on
server or bad transfer or file corrupted
/etc/rc.d/init.d/binipmg_download: sleeping 5s then retrying...
Downloading /DHS3bin/downbin/mg3/binmg3 from 192.168.1.254
I think there're some missing licenses or files on my OXE
is it possible if I reinstall OXe R11.2 package , then re-upload OPS ?
thanks for your help

Re: OXE software error
Not understand - OPS backup and after empty database?
In this case - you have no OPS in your system.
Usual order - create empty database, load OPS, management (f.e. MAC addresses for GD in Ethernet parameters).
If you want to do upgrade for PBX
save database, load new SW, load database, load new OPS.
Not interesting - check what happen with GD. At first you need to check what happen with AS/CS. Login into AS/CS - better via com or iLO port.

Re: OXE software error
after "create empty database" - you have EMPTY database - just database, without equipment, users etc.
After this you need:
- restore OPS - during restoration main equipment (shelves, board) will be created
- manage main parameters - f.e. MAC addresses for GD-3 board (shelf/board/Ethernet parameters)

Re: OXE software error
Dear Mr. Vad ,
thanks for your help
I followed your instruction and not the PABX works properly
I've another issue : I added an IP Touch 8068 , and configure it as an normal extension, it can make a call in local , it can call local extensions and local extensions can also call to this 8068 set. However , this 8068 set cannot make an out side call , i press"9" button and can hear a tone , but when I continue press the number outside , it's silent and I cannot make a cal
could you please help me to configure IP 8068 set for making outgoing call ?
thanks and best regards
P.S : I'm just a newbie in alcatel PABX installation , so please forgive me if i'm disturbing you
