Welcome greeting for incoming calls to attendant

Hello,
I'm very inexperienced in working with OmniVista and I've been tasked with something that's causing me some difficulty:

Currently when outside users dial the main site number (the attendant) they get put straight through to reception. We need to change this so that when they ring the number they are greeted with a welcome message and after the message they are put through. It doesn't particularly matter if they have to press a digit (after the greeting) to be put through. It doesn't matter either if internal users get the same greeting. I've been looking at the Attendant setup in OmniVista 4760 and the associated "Routing" but I'm not sure I'm approaching it in the right way.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you have Automated Attendant licenses then that is the solution. After AA you will route calls to Attendant Group.

Create a incoming greeting guide under System/Down Hierarchy/incoming greeting guide, add voice guide number and time of guide and then the routing number to where you want the call to go to.
Create the main number as a prefix incoming greeting guide number and away it will go, internal users wont get the guide.
