Connecting an AVM Fritz!box 7490 to an OxE

Hi all,
I am trying to get a Fritz!box 7490 SOHO router to work successfully as a SIP extension (or a SIP device) on the OxE (R11.0.1)
Whilst I can get it to register as both of the above I have issues where it appears that the router does not send the required information to the OxE
1. When a outbound call is placed from the router the call will only stay connected for 30 seconds, if I look at the trace for the call I can see the OxE requesting the codec type but does not appear to receive a reply and then releases the call, this is when the extension is set up as a SIP extension, as a SIP device the OxE releases the call @ about 5 seconds (during these periods thought the speech is fine)
2. When a call is placed to the router the call is fine the issue here is that if the phone on the router hangs up first the call doesn't clear on the OxE as there does not seem to be a bye message sent from the router.
Anybody tried to get this router (or its predecessor the 7390) to work on the OxE?
Cheers for any advice
K.
