Names that appears on the extensions but cannot be found in the PBX and I need to remove them from the extensions or fined them on the PBX.
I did look in every place you will think that you could fined them
In the user, phone book, and in the abbreviated numbers.
But I can’t fined them in the PBX just on the extensions

I think no, because when you do a directory search, it should use the user name, whatever the displayed name is setup for... I think he should run a checkdb first. And then he should let me check is pbx. I like to have hands on

On a similar subject, there is a cool tool to query the phonebook in 4400/oxe

'pbm_tuner query-entry'

gives a menu to consult phone book. It is the same operation as using from a 4035 tpye set

This is the steps I did that makes this problem for me
I mad an abbreviated number for a user. Then I edit it and in the can be called by name(yes) then I deleted the account without removing can be called by this is how I got the problem

The pbm-tuner command worked I did fined the user but I tried to remove them but it didn’t work any other way to remove them

as Frank said, a checkdb would probably show an error.

What is system s/w version?

Maybe try to recreate the entry again with exactly the same parameters, then mangae the can be called by name again, then delete it
