problem:
consider two users (A and B). when user A call user B, user B receive phone number and name of user A but I want to configure my system that user B can only see user A name (not name and number). how can I do it ?

I don't think that is possible... Why would you hide which extension is calling? How would he callback for example?

Try - user B phone feature COS - item Virtual set on CMP board (not remember - you will see or only name, or only number).

Hey Vad but doesn't that worked only with CMP boards? I do remember that for remote agents for example...

Not find in my documents (and absent PBX for testing) - but as I remember- this item works for usual digital or IP sets.

system parameter display only name (caller /called ) works only after call answred
specific tel serv dispaly mode of callid ..... called party name may be you have to play with user cos in this case

I'm facing a problem where only the number is being displayed but name is not getting displayed. I have managed under specific telephone services as below
Display mode of call ID + calling No => Called Name
still I'm not getting the called / caller name in the IP phones

I have 4038 & 4068 IP touch in site

Try to change it to Display mode of call id. + Calling No => Called Name
