How Restart tftp Service ?

Hi all

i have problems with the tftp download over a vpn tunnel on customer site. I think its a problem with the tftp blocksize wich is default 1428 so i change it to 512 but tcpdump shows 1428 so i think i have to restart the tftp process.
Any body a idea how i can do this without reboot of the system.

i found something in forum like : service xinetd restart but because i have do this as root im not sure about the impact an maybe missfunction of the system.

may be there are someting like:
dhs3_init -R V24
or
dhs3_init -R SIPMOTOR

i try dhs3_init -R TFTP but nothing i can see

Tftp is only if you have ssh enabled. Do you have it?
About the impact will depend on your applications being used.
Maybe do it out of hours.

Ssh is not enable

You say tftp is only if ssh is enable but gd and ip phones use tftp to download there binary ... my problem is a gd3 here try download but something seems to go wrong so gd3 reset

Only on GD3? I do remember seeing a post about a similar issue days ago. Don't remember the solution...maybe try a quick search
