Mobile Direkt Access setup.

Hi,

we are connecting a mobile trunk to our pbx so that our remote extensions users can call trough our pbx and show their ddi number. Instead of calling the disa manually.

But I cant find any documentations hos to configure this up? hos the set up the discriminator, ars and so on?

In another older pbx that was installed about 2004, they have looped two pri boards to each other to transfer the call through the disa engine.
Isn't their another way to do it today?

Regards..

One question, how does the discriminator handles calls do an internal user that is not a cug ??

Because the document says that the cellular network should send the disa number 1234 and 0 ars prefix following by the number users has put in.

So for an external call it will go to the ars prefix 0 and so on, but how would it handle a internal call? do we have to put in every internal subscriber in the discriminator rule?
Or may the user not be able to call internal calls like 1212 to a internal subscriber? and have to dial the external number to a internal subscriber?

edit.
How about calls to the voicemail? attendant? speed dialing? Hunting grups? Do they all have to be called via the external number?

Regards..

If all external people - have internal sets - you can try - System documentation/ Mobility/ OmniPCX Integrated cellular client.

If - external people - have not internal number but you know ALL external users number - you can use "automatic DISA substitution" feature (user call DISA prefix via GSM gateway, PBX check calling number and make automatic substitution - calling user hear "dial tone" from PBX and can call internal user). Works like usual DISA service but calling user not necessary dial substitution prefix, passwords etc.

If you everyone can call from GSM to internal set - you need to use usual DISA (on PBX or GSM gateway).

What feature interested for you?

I know every external mobile number, so we are using disa whit auto substitution.

The issue is, how can i cug (remote extension) user call an internal set when the mobile operator sends the disa access number following by the prefix for ars. prof. trg grp seiz. with overlap?
As it is described in the sys docs/mobility/forced on pbx.

update,

I might find the solution, In the discriminator, I ad the internal numbers and in the ars I choose the trunk group -1 for internal route. Then in the default did table, I ad the internal number.

Is this the right way to go?

It is known as Internal ARS. Should work..Did you tested it?

Yes it works, I can call external and internal calls from my remote extension.

But how can I get a new tone from pbx? If I want to dail any prefixes?
I tried to dial the disa number again, but i am already authenticated and act as I was my remote extension. The mobile operator dont handle * and # in the network.
