SNMP support

Hi,

I'm trying to configure the SNMP support on my OMNI pcx device for the monitoring.

I' have a problem with the trap, i not recive nothing on the NMS system, i configured the ip address on the OMNI pcx by the Office Management Consolle but... nothing.

How i can resolve the problem ? The snmp support is normally incluse in the device ? I need something other ?

And... other two questions, how i can retrive the specified model of my TS ? And after where i retrive the MIBs of the TS device ?

Hello,

as far as I know, OxO will not support SNMP.

Ok, but i'm not sure that is an oxo, maybe is an oxe. But in my omni pcx manager i have the snmp settings, it's only the interface?
The oxe has the support snmp? How i can retrive the right model?

If you have OMC then it is an OXO.

Than, if in my OMC i have the possibility to set SNMP parameters, the Device OXO not support SNMP, it's necessary a license ?

In my OMC in the istallation Wizard i have :

Version : R1.x...R9.X

Hardware : OmniPCX

I would say this is not yet implemented nor documented.
In the last system release (9.2) sys doc there is nothing about SNMP support. Menu is available in newer OMC versions under NMC. Also an entry related to license is seen on OMC.

Any news regarding this gents?
