Problems with new created users, but old number

Hi guys

on two different sites i got a very strange problem. i created a user as gap handset or gap +. Afterwards the customer decides this user should have an ipphone (4028). So i deregistered the handset, deleted the user, and created a user with the same number but 4028 as set type. I could register the phone, then it reboot but hangs at 5/5. Incvisu says "NOT AN IP PHONE". i don´t know the exact incident. it happens with R11 k140025 and 140030f. Did you had such errrors? I haven´t done a reboot yet, so maybe that helps.

I've just experienced a similar problem when I deleted a user (set as a 4029) and immediately recreated it as a 4028 on the same number on the same node. The 4028 would register but when I tried setting it on that number it would hang at "5/5 Connecting" and keep cycling at that point.
What seemed to fix the problem was when I deleted the user again and left it for 10 minutes until it had cleared from the other nodes before recreating it as a 4028. Even though the other nodes where not involved with this user, the 4028 would not connect until the nodes had synched and the set type had been updated.
