IP Phones recoding problem

Hi,

I have an IP recorder recording calls of 5 Alcatel 4xx8 seriesIP sets. If a call is between an external source (PRA) or between a digital or analogue extension and IP set then call is recorded ok. But when call is between 2 ip sets then call is recorded very distorted and slow.

It seems to be a codec issue but I changed the domain, INT/IP, TCS/IP coding to without compression, I also went into each IP set and changed it to without compression. Just in case I changed the default compression in network parameters to G729 since the recorder can recognize G711 or G729 but not G723.

Do you know where or what else can I check?

Thanks and Regards
Wallace

Direct RTP is true? Under the users menu on tsc IP parameter are they without compression?

Yes direct rtp is on and yes I changed tsc IP Parameters of each ip set to without compression.

I know it is a coding issue but I am still with the problem.
