trying to use conference call

Hi

I have been asked to set up a conference call option on OmniPCX OMC 9.1. I am testing using a 4029 handset. We don't have a licence for Meet Me, so I am looking at the 3 way call setup. Within 'Features in Conversation', Conference is from 50 to 50. I have configured 'F2' to be the conference button.

When I call my mobile from the pbx and dial 50 to activate conference, I see my voicemail screen on the 4029. If I press F2 I get a message saying 'Conference rej'.

Is there something else I need to do, to activate this option on our system?

Thanks
Danielle

I think for conference you need:
- you in conversation with user B
- dial number of user C (B placed on hold)
- when user C answer (B on hold) - dial conference code.

And don't forget to configure conference as unrestricted. This way I can make a three party conference with 2 external called party.

- you in conversation with user B
- dial number of user C (B placed on hold)
- when user C answer (B on hold)

At what stage you have problem?
User/ Base station list - user - Details - Features. Conference allowed or not?
Set type - digital/ analogue/ IP ?

Hi

To make conference as unrestricted you need to go to System Miscellaneous --> Feature Design --> Part 3 --> conference as unrestricted. This makes you able to have conference with two external calls.
All extensions are able to make three-way conference in OXO. There is no need anymore configuration.
Conference under details --> features of an extension is for six-way conference (with software keys).
As I remember, OXO has two circuits of three-way conference. If you have two conferences, the third is not allowed.

Best regards.
