about aclman

Hi,
From my understand , aclman can allow you to input cisco command to configure the switch.So, even user do not ALU command , they can use CISCO command to configure ???

I want to know whether it is possible or not ???
For exaample , how can I use aclman to configure below

1)assign port to one vlan addr
2)create vlan addr

3)create ip interface and link to specific vlan addr ...

4)add ip static route..

You are wrong.

ACLMAN ist the ACL Manager, means you can use Cisco-Style ACLs. (read the manual?)

You need to configure interfaces, vlans aso in Alcatel Style on Alcatel CLI.

Furtheron: ACLMAN implemented ACLS are AFAIK not visible in the config, so you may (in a year or so) have forgotten that there are ACLs limiting your traffic, when you are debugging errors- which is really a pain in the a**.

I would not use ACLMAN if possible (while i must admit, that i like Cisco ACLs much more that Alvcatel QoS- Policys)
