Analogue boards problem

Hi,

I have a crystal hardware system rel 10.1 with main shelf and then other shelves connected to it. The cpu is an Appliance server.

Now on one of the shelves, the analogue extensions began to behave strangely. When you pick up the phone an engage tone is heard and one cannot dial but they can still receive calls.

This shelf has 2 Z24_2 cards and 1 eZ32 card and it is happening on the 3 of them.

Once I reset the cards, the extensions will start working for some time but then same fault reappars.

On incvisu I noticed this incident on one of the Z24_2 cards :

26/08/13 11:18:11 000098M|005/05/-/---|=4:3754=UA link no longer responding

I changed this card but still problem persists.

I also changed INTOF cards just in case but still problem persists.

Any ideas?

I attached a document with incvisu and excvisu.

Thanks and Regards
Wallace

Strange, never heard Z24_2 boards can connect UA Terminals...

Incident is from UA Board.

Weird. This looks like no DTMF receivers available for analog extensions (if you dial in DTMF) . Just wonder - if you dial with decadic mode what would happen?
Anyway patch 16 is a bit old - try with 23rd.

Yep weird,

the error is a UA message error but showing on a Z board.

Now I moved the extensions of this board onto another shelf and deleted this particular board. Now I'll see what happens.

Thanks and Regards

Its normal that UA message is coming if no dtmf Receiver is available on Z Board.
Did you checked dspstat command on z Board Position?
