Hi there!
Firat and foremost thanx for the reply. Well ALCATEL has two PABX for SME's and larger organisations. They have all the facitilies and added values in terms of VoIP, IP PBX etc. We have to types - ALCATEL OMNIPCX OFFICE for small & meduim enterprises and the heavier type ALCATEL OMNIPCX ENTERPRISE for large organisations or enterprises.
Now the omnipcx enterprise comes with the alcatel hospitality link. This is a platform that enables the pabx intergrate work in tandeem with MICROS FIDELIO. Micros fidelio is a hotel management software. Hence the relationship btwn the two is that one can bill the hotel resident on several items collectively. Eg telephone bills,ON ONE BILL etc.
My main problem is that I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER THE ALCATEL OMNIPCX OFFICE CAN ACTUALLY TAKE OR BE CONFIGERATED WITH MICROS FIDELIO. IF SO WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS and IF NOT SO WHAT IS THE WAY FORWARD OR WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS.
Regards TONY

Hi tushnie
let me help you with this issue.... The PCX Office has not got
hotel link with fidelio in releases 1 and 2, otherwise, the new release 3.0 has
the posibilitie of connecting the fidelio in such way. That is what Alcatel has
told duirin the luonch of the new release. I recomend that you check the Hotel
Hospital functionalities that the Office has from the begining (it just support
up to 80 rooms) in order to give to your customer the check in check out
features. I do not have information regarding the performance of this new link
but I do know that the office has had several problems with every new feature
Alcatel has added to it, so be carefull.
