Hello, some know if its possible in the Alcatel to "see" who is talking at the moment with another extension....

i only see the feature Boss-Secretary but it only appears an "X" when the Boss extension is busy.... but i dont know with whom........

If OXE, try 'listincall' command.

You want to know with whom boss speaking? And boss too? Whant to show?

I think he means the boss/secretary wants to know with whom secretary/boss is speaking as she/he speaks. The only way I can think of is intrusion (silent or not). When boss or secretary intrudes he sees the other party. He/she hears the conversation, can join conversation or just give information to secretary without beeing heard by the other party.

another possibility is a third party CTI tool, which has a team monitor. There you can see that he is speaking and, if you allow it, with whom, too. but its rather expensive, because you need the Tapi licenses and the third party tool.

Oxe system.....
.... ok i try listincall but that is for the Oxe administrator, in this case as tot3nkopf says..... when the boss is in a call.....and a very important call, he (boss) dont want to be disturbed, the secretary want to know with who is speaking with in the moment....to know if she can transfer another call or not.......

i have a Harris PBX and there is an option where you can push a VIEW button and dial the extension you want to "see" .....so you can see if the extension is IDLE or.... is busy ........as an example yo can see this: J FERNANDEZ / M GARCIA

I think that's not possible with the default system.
The only way could be to develop a CSTA based application as suggested above.
The second way could be to install A4980 for the Boss extension on the Secretary PC
Or on a third PC as "Monitor only".
