How to switch back an IAP104 to default?

Hi folks,

I´ve got an IAP104, which I have connected to my OAW4306 Controller by switching via the web management to "normal" AP104 software.

But now I wanted to use the IAP104 as an "real" IAP104. But how can I switch back the modus from beeing a "normal" AP back to IAP?

Hi,

To reset an IAP back to its default state:

1. Connect to the console port of the AP and reboot the AP.
2. Press <return> when you see the message "Hit<Enter>to stop autoboot".
3. Enter the "factory_reset" command to clear the IAP configuration and reboot the IAP by the command "boot".

The IAP will boot and get an IP address and will either become the master if there are no other IAP's on the network or connect to the existing master.

I have used this on an IAP105 not an IAP104 so let me know if this works?

thank you for your answer.... My problem was that the serial connection was not working.

But I found the reset-button on the backside of the AP.....
