Hi,

I've a problem between an OXE (4400) and an IP Phone. If all (both OXE and IPPhone) are on the same nework, no problem. But if my IPPhone is on an other network (VPN), using he IPPhone, I can hear other people but they cannot hear me.
I've checked tha i can ping the IP Phone from the 4400. I'm not filtering any protocol between my networks.

If someone as an idea ?

///in French :
Bonjour,

Hi Miko,
as you describe your problem, it is the network. But the question is how can you check it ?
It is possible that you can have a mirror port. So you can use Ethereal ( You can download from the internet) and check that the RTP pakets goes in both direction.

:D

Hey Miko,

Check that your INTIP board are 100Mb.
Check also that the DUPLEX is the same on the BOARD AND SWITCH (or router or wherever the ethernet link is connected)

I might have a VoIP simulation tool and diagnostic tool for Alcatel if you want, I can put it on line..

Frank.

would hazard a guess that when you are on vpn you are being Nat'd (do you get an ip like 172.16.x.x 10.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x)
The problem is normally related to the various H.xxx streams and the dynamic port range getting lost as unless its an ALG or have H.323 support it doesnt know how to handle them

Can you ping the INTIP card from the remote location? Perhaps the one-way audio is caused from the remote not being able to route back to the INTIP.
