How to delete Node on ABCF network

hello

I have an ABCF network with a few nodes connected using T2 trunks.
the customer is replacing the PBX in one location (let's name it Node X) with an Avaya.
They will use the same T2 connection to get the Avaya connected to the Alcatel Network by E1 or Qsig, as well as the same extension numbers.

what do you think that would be the better way to get the Alcatel node removed from the network?

- Delete the affected internode links ABC on the ceased Node X
- Audit + rebuild the reference database
- Deploy the reference database once the node is no longer connected
- Configure routing numbers towards the new system when it is istalled, so all the Alcatel nodes know how to reach the extensions in the 3rd party system.
