Alcatel Unleashed

Pick-up group works fine, Phone rings, from second set, hit the pickup group prefix and then the phone asks for the extension to pickup. Is there anyway to just hit the pickup-group prefix and then grab the call without having to dial the extension?

No, you use individual pick-up prefix. You should use group pick-up prefix.
