CS-2 "died" after reboot of PBX
Hi
Today I did a reboot of a newly installed OXE r10.0 (common hw) and after that I'm no longer able to get any data out from the config port. I'm also not able to ping it or in any other ways get connected to the CS-2 board. I spoke to a couple of colleagues about this and apparently they have experienced the same thing on two other occasions as well - both resulting in a replacement board. Has anyone of you guys experienced this? I'm doing an install right now for a customer on the opposite of the world, so I'm pretty desperate to know if there are any quick fixes to this problem that I should be aware of.
Thank you very much for any help!

Re: CS-2 "died" after reboot of PBX
I have had exactly the same problem with 4 x CS-2 boards. Seems to be a bios issue as the board is completely wiped as though the bios does not even start. I have an eSR logged on this issue and will provide further feedback once A-L TS have checked it.

Re: CS-2 "died" after reboot of PBX
I logged an eSR with A-L and the best they could tell me was that there was a problem with a voltage converter in the CS-2. If you plug it into a small rack-3 it will come up OK and then you can move it back to the large rack but it will die again if you hard boot it in a couple of days. they could not even tell me from what serial number the problem was fixed, just that it had been and I should return the board, but even their"new" board they sent as a replacement has the same issue. I do not think they have fixed the issue at all and there are many boards in production that are 1 hard reboot away from the same failure.

Re: CS-2 "died" after reboot of PBX
I got similar problem, CS-2 starts only in slot 0 ( GD) place, but not in own 2 (small rack). I have replaced cs-2 2 weeks ago and it works. Hope it will work ...
Even after restart. I have restarted a lot of times.
Matt
Do You have any info from eSR like observation sheet number or something similar? O lets say what ind number of board like ACCxxxyyyzzzzz ? Maybe old one too?

Please refer the CR crms00345557 (in close/reject tab update found as below). No software modification: Ok But a HW modification is needed;
please see below the R&D HW root cause analysis update:
Root cause: "By analyzing the board, the problem comes from the start of the 1V2 voltage converter (HOST_IO_1V2).
Has been resolved by a FA 3EH73086AAJBFAZZA for the REVISION 09 (ECO-0000068553) of the CS2 board."

Re: CS-2 "died" after reboot of PBX
Another case, 2 reports:
Symptom:
Cs-2 is not booting up with new MR3 cabinet.
Solution:
There is a technical alert about the new cabinet s issue with CS-2 and the same has been corrected from MR3 (3BA00406AB)., hence need to go for RMA to get the faulty cabinets replaced
Symptom:
CS-2 board start -up problem in large cabinet
Diagnosis:
Known issue and it was reported in crms00345557
