How to configure an analog set on OmniPCX

Hi,

I have an analog phone connected to my SLI card. I have created a User with "Set Type + ANALOG"

I have also set "Analog type + Voice" - is this necessary for a voice call or just leave at the default "No specific management"?

I presume I need to configure the physical port I have the analog device connected to? I am using the following default settings
Shelf Address : 255
Board Address : 255
Equipment Address : 255

Can someone please advise on what config is required to get an analog phone working

Thanks

hi

if you created the user just plug the phone to an sli port and you will hear a voice guide press the number you created and then the password 0000.Then automaticly the port will be configured .for example shelf adress, board, equipment. if you cant do that then you have to configure it dynamicly.you have to specify the shelf adress, board and equipment.if you dont know this values then run the command config all and you will c your configuration of the cards (board and shelf)and then with command listerm f.e if the sli board is in position 1 and crystal 0 then type listerm 0 1 you can spesify what port is free(equipment)

So you will put to the values shelf adreess :0
board adress:1
equipment adress:0 (0 is the first port of your card,if you have sli 16 then first is the 0 and the last 15)

Brilliant thank you very much, plugging it in, entering the extension followed by 0000 did it for me.

Just as a matter of interest, below is an output from the config all & listerm command.

My addresses for the following are?

Shelf Address 2?
Board Address ?
Equipment Address 0 ?

config all

I see that you are good in this staff, so I hope that little bit of your knowledge will be helpful to me.
I have problem that my telephone exchange is not forwarding incoming calls to specified line, outgoing calls are going normally through trunk lines.
Looks like server doesnt know where to route incoming call.
Lines from outside are connected on the NDDI board.
Is there any way how I could make route from the board slot to telephone line?
Any idea, how I can trace problem?

Thanks

UNDER TRUNK GROUPS GO DOWN
TRUNK GROUP
GO DOWN
TRUNK
REVIEW MODIFIE
SELECT ALL INSTANCE AND YOU HAVE TO PUT the trunk group number (you should have it )
SELECT ANY TRUNK AND SET THE TRUNK ROUTING NUMBER
REDONE THE SAME FOR ALL TRUNKS OF THE TGROUP
