hello
i have 2 OXO in two sites (Japan and USA), and they have sip trunk to connect them.
it is work fine.
but i am some question?
USA user can use Japan T1 trunk line to call Japan external call?
is it possible?
how to config it?
i find OMC > user >EXT NO. 101(analog) > detail > MISC > special function --select "permanent DTMF (touchtone)"
is it similar "DISA" function? or i am wrong?
THANKS

This is usual transit, f.e.:
USA side - you need to send prefix+number (f.e. 0+1234567 - where 0 - Japan T1 TG seizure and 1234567 - external number).
Japan side:
- 0 - Japan T1 TG seizure (in private/public numbering plan).
After you need only manage sharing and baring - IP access (!! accees, not TG) sharing and baring must be compatible with T1 TG sharing and baring (sharing IP access --> sharing T1 TG - allow to seize, barring IP access --> barring T1 TG - allow to dial 1234567 f.e.).

if USA side , prefix 9 to access T1,
in Japan side, prefix 0 to access T1,
in USA user, press 0 + 1234567 > can dial Japan external call?
it is correct?
would you give me more detail of this config? (step by step)
i am not expert!!
thanks VAD

There is no problem, 0 or 9 is only an example. When you send the call from USA to Japan you need put before the Japan external number a prefix to access the TG.
For example: you are in USA and you want to call the number 78791234 in Japan, so you need send PREFIX + 78791234 to Japan OXO (this configuration must be done in USA ARS) while in Japan you need to create the PREFIX to access the TG on public numbering plan and private numbering plan (the PREFIX can be any number you want like 3).
USA ARS -> (prefix: 78791234) (substitute: 378791234) (TrGpList: index of VoIP TG inside the ARS)
Japan Public/Private Numbering Plan -> (Feature: Secondary Trunk Group) (Start: 3) (End: 3) (Base: Japan TG base or ARS) (NMT: Drop) (Priv: No)
After you need do the same changing the side. Remember, the prefix you can choose ever looking for to prevent numbering conflicts.
Try this.
