Noise over ISDN

Post by nelson.vieira »

Good Morning,

I have a OXE release 9.0 H130150a entirely suporting IP sets and trunks. All works fine.
Now I am connecting some ISDN lines to the system using a MIX Board. When i make a call over the isdn line i listen some metalic noise like robotic voice. The line is good (no problems connected to a OXO).

Have you verify the compression of your system.

Do you use or not compression inter your GD and your ipphone set? Your domain are well configured?

Also please see that you have configured your qos well, cause latency packet drops could also associated with your issue. But most importantly or firstly check all your layer 1 is new, no loose connectors and up to standard as a result there are sometimes IP bottle necks which cause udp packets to behave as such.
