connecting two 4400 using a TCP/IP network

Post by giobolo2003 »

Hi all,

first of all I say I don't know much about Alcatel PBX.

However my company has 2 Alcatel 4400 in two different buildings which are linked together using a ISDN line.

We have built now a direct TCP/IP link between the two networks.

The answer is: is it possible to link the two alcatel using the TCP/IP link ??? And what do I need to check about my Alcatel 4400 hardware ???

thanks all & Best regards !!!

What version is the PCX? You need to have either a INTIP or LIOE cards.
Also check the OPS lock uder spadmin. Best thing to do is contact your Sales person for Alcatel and run a ACTIS check.
