Sets ringing becoming muted

Hi all,

I'm looking for a bit of help.

I administrate an OXE at R7.2 and I'm being made aware of an ever increasing amount of 4010 sets whose ringing is being muted. I reset the device and it cures it but the fault returns and continues returning despite a hardware change so I'm pretty certain this isn't a hardware issue, especially as recently its happening on more and more sets.

I know this is an old release but has anyone else seen this problem and if so how did they resolve it?

That was a problem with some electronic part of one 4010 range. Kind of late for you as those sets are for sure out of warranty and they cannot be replaced or sent to ALU service.

Sorry to revisit this issue but while it was 1 or 2 sets I could control it but there are many more sets now with this issue. I have found someone who can supply me with replacements but he isn't aware of whether the sets he has are from the problematic batch, is anyone aware of how these can be identified, serial number etc?
