I just installed those IP Touch phone today for the first time.
They rock !

I read that we can program XML to change everything on the display ?
Anyone has a doc on that ?

that XML Thing is very intresting.

I would like to bring some info , like Daily Canteen Menu, on the Display of my new Phone.

Anyone Has Information how i can do that ?

hi, may i know how where can i find what is the codec being used by the ip phone. i tried to telnet into the ip phone but could not find anything useful

I believe the codec being used depends on the domain that the phones are configured into.

The default would be a G.711, but if you configure the phone into a remote domain, across a lower bandwidth link, then it would be G.729a

this is the default in the MAO. thus i would presume that it is using G723. where can i find more information about the domain of the IP phone configuration.

Hi folks
Anyone tried to install some XML Web services on 4038/4968?
I contacted local Alcatel representative about any demo... still no reply.
One customer wonders whether iit is possible to have weather report on 4068?
What is really needed?
Looks like it is kind of real but how?

I think you need a license in order for you to used xml on the IP Touch Phones,
