I was curious to know if anyone bought a phone from the developer's web site, and tried the SDK (free) ?

Well the same you gave me last time. The phone is kinda laggy sometimes...no special applications running...guess OS is still being tunned, right?

And how to obtain such a phone ? In Europe, please.

Look them up on Facebook...there's lots of info on there, mainly marketing stuff, info about a beta site hotel in Switzerland too....YouTube has a few Corp Videos that are pretty cool.

To be honest, Apple or Sony launched a product like this with such a MASSIVE lag from telling to selling they would have gone broke years ago...I cant believe how badly AL has handled this launch...I have customers now going back through their Cisco quotes as they have given up waiting to see one working. 1/10 for AL on this one!!

I have the SDK but the Virtual Box MyIC Phone Simulator tries to connect to https://developer-enterprise.alcatel-lu ... m/download
This is not possible because this site is down for maintenance since many days.
So I can not set up my phone simulator (but could use my hardphone of course...)
