Hi

I am trying to connect serially (using OMC rel8) to a powercpu but cannot. I tried it with different Powercpu's and from different pc's but still couldnt work. I checked the cable just in case but it's ok.

Was there any change to connect serially to a powercpu?

Regards
Wallace

At first - connect V24 (115 kbits) and use some terminal programm - if you will see how OXO started (many message like process and so on started) - you need to change V24 mode

Hi

With hyperterminal 115kbits I can see activity going on. I also tried both ways with swap_serial but still couldn't connect serially.

Did you manage to connect serially with a Powercpu?

Hi,

Have the same problem and submit an eSR to ALU. Been 2 weeks and now in observation sheet with R&D.
Understand that there are similar cases reported. So, hang in there. A solution will be found soon.

Rgds.

no, unfortunately. Its still 'treatment in progress' status.
Btw,I'm using usb to rs232 with v24 cable and it fails to login. But a reseller manage to use built-in com port to login with success on same machine and
with my v24 cable! Back in office, I use another notebook with built-in com but no luck. what's wrong with OXO and its firmware?!
