Wrong Password error

Hi,

I got a new CPU which I have to do a software download to put the version but each time put the password a have a login error wrong password.

But when put a advanced set I can enter the password *************** (cavagnaro: NO PASSWORDS) and enters in the programing session.

Can some help

Check input language on your PC, when you enter Password. Also try to disable some automatic change language programs like as Punto Switcher. Also try to use OMC instead of PM5 for Release 5 and higher.

Hello,

You can have a specific password for the SW downloading.

Since the config password is known, connect to the system with OMC and set the download password back to default (in System Miscellaneous - password - Reset password for download level.

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago with an R 5.1. Using a 4035 I've loggegd in without problem (using *************** (cavagnaro: NO PASSWORDS)), same thing with OMC no luck. I had to use LOLA and make software download on it. Then no problem.

I had the same problems with some CPU´s (mostly in OXO CE).

Cold start doesn´t take any effect only LoLa solved the problem...

Strange thing that on an 4035 or 4039 I can log in with the *************** (cavagnaro: NO PASSWORDS) but on OMC not.......

I've experienced this few times before...my NumLock was turned ON for some reasons unknown...so I turned it off.
