Cisco IP Phones Over a 6850

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect Cisco IP Phones on a 6850?? I never done that and I knew that Cisco has some propietary protocols that don“t allow us to use different switch platform than Cisco.

I haven't tested cisco phones with Alcatel switches until now. But it should work. Alcatel don't block other protocols. QoS will not work automaticly. There you have to create your own policy - or make the phone-ports trusted if the phones sent DSCP.
Check if your phones support poe with 802.3af. You have to switch-on lanpower at the switch.
Try it.

All Cisco IP Phones with PoE work in these Switch!!
