Hi every one.
I have an OXE crystal in Paris, and a GD3 in germany, I use network link to connect (of course !) but voice go throught ISDN.
When a call is on hold, he can hear a tone and this shuld be a music.
So, I have to record a waiting guide on my locally GD3.
Is it possible to record message with a 4035 or 4068 on a GD3?
Regards.
Voice guide on GD3
Re: Voice guide on GD3
HAve you uploaded the MOH onto the OXE - I don't think that these files are installed with the software. You have to manually upload the files and then configure the voice guide indexes for voice guides and MOH.
Then you can remove tone 2 (which is the default hold tone) and create Voice Guide number 2.
Hope this helps

Re: Voice guide on GD3
You can record from set like 4035 - if you have opened OPS lock 91-VGRecordOnUA.

Re: Voice guide on GD3
First thank you for your answers.
To Vad : i can record voice guide with my oxe, i have this OPS and it works in Paris.
To Patmuld39 : i have a MOH configured with an analog equipment in Paris, it works fine.
i have to clarify an important point : i know how to record a voice guide on my oxe. But my oxe and my GD are in 2 separate IP domain, and I have to set "Domain Max Voice Connection" to 0.
My trouble is how to index voice guide on my GD.
Regards.

Re: Voice guide on GD3
To declare the VG's and MOH on the GD, go to:
Shelf > Board > Voice Guide Index
Create - Instance VG 1, VG index X (where X is the language number corresponding to the language set in System Parameters - on my Pabx's French is 2 and German is 3)
Then create Instance 2 with the MOH option.
The above is explained in R9.1 docs under: 9.1 Sys Doc¬ System Services¬ Voice Guides and MOH
