Post by Siagian »

Hi All,

i already configure OFS base on documentation TC1096en , tc1175-ed.05 omnitouch 8450 fax software_en. but, i found my SIP trunk still hs.

1 line number i dedicated for this fax, ( ex: 25538282 ( ISDN )) and what i want is every incoming fax from this number can automatic delivered only to e-mail address.

anyone can show me how?

1. Create a user with the email address
2. Create a direct incoming Route where DNIS is 67001 for example, where 67 is your network routing prefix, associate this rule to the user created on step 1
3. Configure your OXE (entity or other) you route the call to 67001.
4. Done

Dear Cav,

Thank you so much for your help.
1. I’ve create internal user with e-mail
2. I’ve create trunk 17 as SIP trunk
3. I’ve create 43 as network routing prefix.
4. I’ve create 8282 as entity call to 3 ( my incoming fax is 25538282 )
5. I’ve create 3 as entity which route to 43

But, I still fail to send or receive fax. What was I missed ?

i attach my fax configuration.

Ok, something missing here. if 47 is your Network prefix it has a length that you need to declare, lets say 5, in that way you will be able to use from 47000 to 47999, so what is wrong here is that in OFS you are declaring only 47 (?) which as said should be 47001 if you want and also in OXE should be routed to 47001, not to 47 only.

Dear Cav,

i was follow from your example.
1. Network Prefix 43 with range 5 . which Node Number/ABC-F Trunk Group : 17 ( SIP Trunk )
2. Prefix 8282 as entity call 3, which routed to 43001
3. SIP Trunk 17 entity i fill with 3.

but, when i try send fax to 25538282 still fail. :(
this my update :

Ok, so now OFS is ok, considering that siagin@company.com is a valid domain, right?
Now your OXE DID routing seems to be the problem.

Question, when you do a T3 trace what do you see? Is this analog or PRI lines?

Question, the SIP External Gateway is using port 5061 right?
