Dear All,
Recently upgraded to OXE R.9.1, and 3rd party recording application. My internal calls are not recording because of this feature direct rtp is enabled in system.
Earlier in IP parameters we get Direct RTP parameter but in R.9.1 docs says default its enabled, but i didnt find this parameter in 9.1 where to disable this diect rtp parameter. somebody can help me out. thanks in advance.
Cheers
Direct RTP - how to disable in R.9.1
vad wrote:IP/ IP parameters/ Direct RTP for H323 terminals - present or not?
This parameter is for H323 only. Direct RTP for 40x8 sets or old one is removed at all from R9.1.
I have installed NiceLog with DRLink ( E1 connection between OXE and Nice), but such problem is solved on OXE level, it switch off dynamically Direct RTP for recordable sets.
Exist another solution when IPTouch sends RTP packets directly to Nice VoIP logger.
I guess no way to change anything on OXE level if Your recording solution is not able to work in any of 2 described ways like NICE.
I see one workarround - create RSPANs on switch level: grab all traffic from switch ports and send to logger.

Re: Direct RTP - how to disable in R.9.1
Hello
ALU does not support a "direct RTP = false" flag in Release 9.1.
The mgr flag has been disabled, the only way to change the value is with cuser, but i don´t know the command string.
As far a i know it is because of the new SIP Features in Rel. 9.1 and sip always needs direct RTP.
kind regards
