Hi All
I apologise if I'm posting on the wrong category.
I'm just wondering whether the voice message stored as attachment in Exchange can be played while accessing Voicemail from phone sets.
The situation I'm in at the moment is: When access my voicemail from the phone set, it starts reading the Emails. Is there a way in which we can force the ICS server to only retrieve the Voice Messages and play the attachment?
Cheers

It should as long as the same VM send the email with the VM attached. If not it might be because UM is not identifying them as appropiate VM. Maybe you are using the Nextenso Plugin, if so, check the permissions of the COM component and follow the troubleshooting guide.

Hi Cavagnaro
Thanks for the direction, yes you're right, the voice message received should be sent from the Voicemail owner ie, the user should send the message to himself. I will have to figure out how the ICS server will do this, or I might have to do something on the exchange.
I tested this by forwarding the mail to sender itself.
Cheers

Check the documentation. ICS is not a product to install and make it work without training...many things...

Exactly, I haven't done any training on this product but was lucky to get the Training Manuals from a friend in NZ. Was promised training after this install, to attend training or not, I'm not sure. Anyways, I am looking into the docs and hopefully will come across something that will be of help. I will update once I get it running.

I've managed to get this working. I now used the Web Services, I was using the Exchange plugin before but had many issues. For some reason, Web Services wasn't working initially thus the use of plugin, but now Web Services is working perfectly well and my problem is solved.
Cheers
