BICS with ics6.1 very slow.

Hi guys hope you can help waiting for AL to reply to my service request.
I have just recieved a bics server with ics 6.1 for a poc.
My problem everything is working but the ics is very slow.
For instance if i get a call i get the call control pop up 20 seconds later.
If i switch my current phone from office to personal comp it takes 1 minute to respond.
I have left the default vm hardware specs. 1 processor 3gig mem.
I have shutdown the teamwork server and 4760 to see if it helps but no luck.

And the PC? Which specs it has? How is memory consumption and CPU when doing this?

Hi cavagnaro its the ibm server alcatel supplies according to me its way underspeced for bics 2.1 but anyway here we go.
Its a dual core xeon with 8gig of ram.

No, the server not, the agent PC. You may have a huge server but if your end user PC is a pentium1 with 64Mb of RAM obviously it will be slow...

Hi sorry only getting back to you now had a few hectics installs.
The client PC were dual cores with 4gig Ram.
The problem actually landed up being a DNS prob, re-configured the BICS using the build in dns and my problem was sorted.
Initially I was using the clients dns.
Thanks for help though.
