Is anybody facing a problem of reset of the IP touch phones 4038 4018, during a manual switch over of redaundant CPU CS hardware, with a GD board.
OXE is at release 7.0 or f440123b ( latest) The IP redaundancy is set to true in the IP /parameters. and the duplication is READY if you enter the twin command. I am using role addressing on the GD board. So I just defined in the GD board only the IP address of the MAIN role cpu address.
I did the same configuration on release 6.2 and did not face such problem.

Are your Ip phones pointing to both Ip address of the OXE?

I am using the local OXE DHCP server, and configured the role addressing. The phone are starting in dynamic mode. They should be using the main CPU by role address.
no router is behind.Besides I noticed some incidents on the CPU_CS
4:0426=IPTOUCH terminal reset, it was due to a problem of downloading the lanpbx.cfg file, although this file is not needed, since i have only a stand alone site. No ABC network.
The phones are 4018 IP touch and 4038 IP touch

The file "lanpbx.cfg" is alawys needed for an IP Phone.

It's best to create a lanpbx.cfg file, even if you think it's not necessary. Some ip-parts need it to work properly.
Also the IP-phones doesn't load this lanpbx file for nothing (as over-ip mentioned).

Just create it with 'lanpbxbuild -auto'.
Perhaps this will help.
