I have a problem with a mobile phone interface. All phone lines are analog interface including a mobile phone is, more specifically a Nokia interface. The problem is that this line is blocking for no reason from time to time. I could'n fiind any reason for this problem.
The only variant that can unlock it is to get in OmniPCX Office Management Console -> External select line -> out of order.
Anyone know a solution to this problem?

Hi,
I think the mobile line is blocking with other analog line(In transfer ext to ext, forward to ext.,..), it cann't be released, so you must set it out/in service to release the line.
if so, you need to try to modify the system parameters (busy or hang-up tone) to release correctly.
Check the system feature and find out the reason first.

Hi,
the option "Busy tone detection" it's on for this line. If I turn it off the problem occurs more often. All other 4 analog lines have the option turned off. If I turn it on I have another problem: the talks interrupt with no reason at irregular intervals of time.
Here is a print screen with the config of the GSM line:

Hi,
Your system allowed the features of forward to external, transfer to external..? If so, maybe the reason is analog to analog connection can not be released.
You may check the system noteworthy addressed, these parameters for configuration of the "Busy Tone Detection" with the APA board.
Try to find out the best setting that can release analog/analog:
Debug Label:
BTDMaxWOff.
BTDMaxWOn.
BTDMinWOff.
BTDMinWOn.
BuTSiDtPar(5th byte= 0A or 05)--warm start required for this modification.
MinBusySeq.
Good luck.

One problem is that noteworthy addresses are system wide.
So if you have two different public providers (or GSM FXS interfaces), with different busy tones, it would be impossible to configure busy tone detection to work well for both of them.

I have one single GSM interface. The problem still persist but it's more acceptable. Once in one week the line stiil hang and i must disable and reenable the line manualy.

This means that the values configured are not the correct ones. Try to search for that values in tech manuals of the GSM gateway.

Hi
Use polarity reversal at GSM interfaces. It is the best way. I have many OXO with this kind of services for GSM interfaces. All of them are working well.
