One of my customer bought it. It works pretty well. Allows you to record screen and voice in a call center.

Hello,
I'm the one that decided to add this application to the ALU portfolio of our specific applications. We have installed 10 recorders since its introduction beginning of this year. The installation of the application is straightforward. Application is using the DR-LINK (TDM) and IP-DRLINK protocols and is exclusively OXE.
For IP recording the application is software only and runs on a windows 2003 server, for TDM recording we are using a packetizer BOX that transcodes the TDM channels to IP. This BOX is connected to the PCM board of the OXE
Application has been developped by a third party (we have an exclusive contract for OXE).
A new version is planned for September with new features, more security, ...

To answer to you question :
Pro :
- in IPDRLINK solution is software only
- in DR-LINK no need to integrate a specific card into a PC
- Price (our target is to be more aggressive on pricing to win market shares)
- Application is easy to use.
- One stop shopping/maintenance

Cons :
- New product
- Level of features not equivalent to NICE, VERINT, ...

I am interested in this solution. Actually, I have my client who want to record the conversation. Please tell me more, how to get it. The site and more explanation.

Do anyone have an alternative solution that is in existence before?

Thanks for your response.

OmniPCX Record - Advantages/Disadvantages

Hi,
I am a new member today, and this is my second post.
(The first one disappeared somehow, though.)

My impression of this new product is all kudos.

1. The pricing is "VERY aggressive" and straightforward, compared to NICE or Verint.
(Last time I checked, the latters' pricing schemes seemed convoluted, and I did not bother to hear about their service schedules.)
2. It is as complicated as a recording SW should be, and not a tad more. Some of the other SW's will poach eggs for you. In my view, this is the greatest feature for many prospective sites, although some might feel OmniPCX Record "lacks features w.r.t. other competing products.
3. It has "Centralized Recording". i.e. if your customer has multiple OXE's spread over multiple geographical locations, the OmniPCX can be installed at the headquarter for all IP nodes all over the country (IP only, though).

Regards, concerto

Hi everyone, I'm the architect of OmniPCX Record that has been developped in collaboration with Amigo Software, well know on this site.
Why OmniPCX Record is different from the other solutions :
- its positionning is MID Market, we don't want to compete against NICE on XXL projects.
- we have selected a limited set of functionalities to keep the product simple to use and install.
- application is software based in IP and is using a TDM box called Packetizer and not a PCI card to install into a server.
- we are open to customers/bp feedbacks to enhance the solution.
- we are supported as any other alcatel-lucent products and applications and we handle all the interworking issues between OXE and OmniPCX Record.

If you have any questions or need clarifications please come back to me
