FAX from public sip trunk group.

Hi guys,
I am unable to send or receive FAX via public sip trunk group,
Is there any setting for FAX through Public sip trunk group.
Trace file attached and my PABX release is 9.0

can u please explain why its not possible or is there any other divice which i have to use with PABX to make and recive calls through public sip trunk

Hi,
It is possible if the public switch implements Fax over T.38
On the trace i can see that the call is well done, then the OXE make an re-invite in T.38 (this is the way oxe implements fax over ip) but the public switch releases the call.
Or the public switch does not implements t38 (that why i want to see the trace on the oposite direction) or there is something that he do not like (for instance the maxdatagram ?)

From the switch it supports T38 fax and works fine with other PABX like Mitel.
Here is the trace of an incoming and outgoing call made from the extension

On the traces i can not see any T38 comunication. only g711

Ask provider - supported or not T38 in public gateway. Some provider use PCM mode with 10 or 20 mc framing (for fax/modem support).
