Hi

I am using 4038 set as operator console. When the operator console is in conversation with first call and it does not give beep sound for the second call or calls which are in queue. But it displays the caller name of the second call. Actually the customer needs the beep sound indication on the speaker/buzzer for the call waiting. Any help would be appreciated.

Try with OMC--> System miscellaneous --> Memory Read/Write --> Other labels --> I_TONES0 +std_camp_on offset.
Value depends on the system country (software release).

Can anyone please give me the value of I_TONES0 +std_camp_on offset for UAE.

Will the Console 4038 give beep sound for the second call while on conversation. I am just getting the caller id/name in the display.

Did you uncheck the warntone protection in subscriber features?

Warn tone protection is not enabled.

The beep sound comes first time after that it is not coming but the customer wants continously.

Ah, ok, so the thing is that time between 2 tones is too long. Check I_TONES0 +std_camp_on offset like I said before. Be aware that beep sound capture audio so the conversation is cutoff when the beep sounds.
