Sip and Slanx

Post by rob b »

Hi all , I had a site recently ( rel8 Oxe )that the Slanx board failed , I replaced the board and the Sip devices stopped working or took ages to register, I found that the replacement board was part number 3eh73013abab, but the original was 3eh73013abac, I tried another 3eh73013abab, but still the same , had to order a new board which came with the part number 3eh73013abjk. Anybody have any ideas why the difference in part numbers or is it just updated boards to support new features.
Regards
Rob

hello

i suppose that different part numbers has to do about the components that the board is made. lanx boards are just a switch. about your sip devices you have an other issue.

Everything is ok now thank you, with the 3eh73013abab SlanX board the Sip devices either wouldn't register or if they did they would experience problems such as when called could not answer, when making a call they couldn't hang up also when called sometimes it would take 30-40 second for the device to ring.
Many Thanks
