USB backup problem

Hello...

i use usb converter to connect alcatel 4200 pcx ı have no problem..

but when ı tryıng to take backup from alcatel 4200 pbx;
ı' ve problem with pbx and ı cant take backup from pcx

can anybody help me ?

We too faced similar issues with USB convertor
The ideal way to take the backup would be using the 9 pin D type connnector instead of the USB converter.

In PC-MMC software enter em COMM(configuration serial) and DISABLE ZMODEM!

For 4200 begin from 3.x use PCMCIA to Com adapter. On 4200 2.45 USB-to-COM working without problem.

Right i had the same problem using usb to serial interface

I solved it by connecting via ISDN interface (locally if possible).

But sometimes indeed it helps to switch zmodem off.
